Early December

We have had the wonderful gift of family visiting over the last few weeks.  Carl has finished painting the downstairs living spaces.  He is glad to say it took two weeks and three days of consistent painting (original estimate was three days!) but it looks fantastic.  We had a great visit with GiGi over the past two weeks.  She got to stay with us several days before going to visit Keith and Cathy.  We visited the Gaylord Hotel and saw the fantastic light display, model trains, decorations galore, and Santa.  Thanksgiving was relaxing and we had a great meal at Nana and Papa's.  GiGi taught me how to knit and I seem to need a refresher already.  There were also lots of wonderful dinners and lunches out with family.  We picked out our Christmas tree but as of today only the lights are on the tree - things are always busier than expected around here.  I will post pictures of Curren decorating soon.

We are waiting the news on the arrival of our niece tonight.  We cannot wait to see and hear the name of the new baby Ritchie.

Taking a stroll with Grandpa on a beautiful afternoon.

Trying on Dad's new shoes.

Fonzie cut his paw barking at our neighbor's dog.
We used K-C tape to bandage him up.  He kept the bandage on for a good 30 seconds!

He looks like a little burglar.

Let the painting of the house begin.

Papa plastering and patching.

GiGi visited Dallas for two weeks.

Cranberry relish for Thanksgiving.

We made a chocolate cream pie Thanksgiving morning.

Cooking Thanksgiving dinner at Nana and Papa's house.

Talking with the ladies after dinner.

Truffles with aunt Cathy and Gigi.

Waiting in line to visit with Santa.

Greeting guests at the Gaylord Hotel as we wait for Dad with the car.

Lunch with Mom.

Loading the Christmas tree.

Passing out kisses at dinner.  Uncle Keith was next in line.

Bye Bye to Gigi before she heads back to Minnesota.
