Our charming Georgetown getaway

We are back form our trip to visit Jamie, Matt, and Josh.  We spent five fabulous days relaxing in the Ritchie's new home and visiting the countryside.  The boys got to spend some quality time getting to know each other and keep the adults on their toes until bedtime.  The first day, we played in the front yard until poor Josh stood in a lawn chair and fell.  Jamie worried he had broken his nose, but it was fine (you can see his teddy bear nose in the photos).  We visited the famous Clam Box for lunch and Curren loved the fried clams.  The rest of the week was filled with fun activities like picking apples, which led to making two scrumptious apple pies.

Carl and I had a wonderful date on friday evening in Portsmouth, thanks to Jamie and Matt.
On saturday, we visited Spencer-Pierce farm for a tractor ride, good old bluegrass music and a few local fall brews for the dads.

Getting away for a long weekend is just what we needed.  We are now back home and ready to tackle repainting the first floor of the house.
