Moving into a new home always gets us excited about decorating and then realizing we got in over our heads and Curren's room is just one example. We wanted to decorate the room in a space theme. Carl repainted the cotton candy pink walls in a light blue with a dark blue ceiling. He did a great job with the painting, go husband! We wanted to put stars on the ceiling (from aunt Jill) and a solar system for him to look at while daydreaming in his bed. I found a neat project of using needlework thread and weaving it around a balloon similar to paper mache. I can do this with Curren and we will have a great time, Ha. It took two weeks and made a huge mess of our kitchen, but in the end they turned out pretty cool and they even glow.
